Grapes for this wine were sourced from vineyards across some of the best growing areas across California, providing the wine with rich, intriguing complexity. Vineyards in Napa Valley, Sonoma and Lake Counties provide grapes with richness, density and finesse. Grapes from Dunnigan Hills and Paso Robles express structure and aromatics while grapes drawn from Lodi vineyards provide ripe berry fruit flavors. The result is a wine with exceptional finesse and structure as well as full body and rich fruit flavors.
After harvest, crush, and fermentation, individual lots were aged in a combination of new and used American and French oak barrels for up to 18 months. Each of the lots included provides a different and unique component to the finished blend making it well-balanced and harmonious.
Our wine displays intriguing wild berry and plum flavors, silky tannins, richness and complexity on the palate with a lingering finish.
